    Description

Hi, my name is Danny. I graduated high school in LA and I’ve been living in Korea for about 2 years.

I’ve seen a lot of Koreans who want to communicate in English with foreigners getting frustrated because they don’t know how and where they can find such opportunities in Korea.

Almost all schools and academies in Korea focus their teaching only on Reading, Listening and Grammar. Because of this most Koreans shy away or get nervous when it comes to holding an actual conversation with a foreigner.

I created this cafe hoping to break this rigid trend in learning English by having real conversation and interactions with people from different countries.

If you decide to join us, it will be a great opportunity for you as well.
The best way to enjoy and truly experience the country you’ve decided to go to is by hanging out and becoming friends with the locals.

By joining us, you can naturally become friends with our Korean members and travel around Seoul together while they can practice their English and learn about your culture.

I believe this is the perfect opportunity for you to build friendship and experience new things here in Korea.

I will also organize group events from time to time such as camping or hiking with all the foreigners and Korean members together so that all of us can become closer

If you want to explore Seoul and make local friends, apply to our cafe!

Minimum wage in Korea every hour you work as long as you have the proper visa.

I think You need to make local Korean friends if you want to really experience Korea.
Here you can meet a lot of Koreans that want to meet you!
Not only you can talk in Korean with them and practice your Korean, you can also earn minimum wage in Korea every hour you work as long as you have the proper visa.

It's a great opportunity for you to practice Korean as well. Just like one can learn "real" English by having a real conversation with an English speaker, you can improve your Korean naturally by having a real conversation in Korean here at our cafe!

We will help the workawayers with Korean if they want to learn and improve Korean.
We will help them with practical korean in the way how local Koreans speak instead of boring text book style korean that no one ever uses.

    Also, we offer you accommodation.
The accommodation is in guesthouse style and is furnished with bunk beds and we will supply you with ramen, bread, rice and various seasonings you can use when you cook. We have stoves and some kitchen utensils as well.

The Korean members coming to our cafe are usually people that want to speak English and learn about other cultures. Therefore it is necessary that you are fluent in English if you decide to apply to our cafe.

Some of our Korean members may not be fluent in English. You need to be able to be patient and try to help them when they struggle with English.
