Description
We are a family-run rural project nestled in the heart of the Catalan countryside (Balsareny). Together with my four children, I chose to live here to create a home rooted in calm, connection, and meaningful living.
This project was born from a desire to slow down, live more consciously, and reconnect with nature. It’s open to those who seek to rediscover what truly matters.
But this is more than just a guest house — it’s a growing, intentional community where care, collaboration, and shared purpose come together.
As part of this shared journey, volunteering plays a vital role. Tasks like painting, gardening,diy or palletizing tasks and house keeping are not commercial duties — they contribute to the maintenance of the main house where our family and volunteers live. When we arrived, the house and garden had been left untended for a long time, and now we’re gradually bringing it back to life.
These activities are entirely unrelated to the tourism business and instead support our vision of a simple, nature-connected, and mindful life.

Cultural change is a mesningful part of life at here. We welcome people from around the world who bring diverse perspectives, traditions and ways of being that enrich our daily life. Through shared work, fireside conversations and time in nature we foster a space of mutual learning, respect and deep cultural connection

Helping with tasks like painting, restoring and varnishing wooden doors, hanging lights, gardering or lending a hand with housekeeping. Every action helps make this vision of simple, nature and mindful life.

Accommodation
Volunteers accommodation is located in the main house: A cozy and light-filled apartment with three rooms (one double and two singles) offering a restful, home like space.
Volunteers are also welcome to enjoy all shared areas of the property -such as the nature-surrounded pool, the tennis court, peaceful outdoor lounges, and quite spots for contemplation.
Work schedules are flexible and adapt to daily needs, thought due to the heat and strong sun, we recommend either a morning shift (which includes preparing lunch for everyone - family&volunteers) or an afternnon shift (helping with dinners). Days off will be Sundays and one weekday of your choice, except for Friday and Saturday, aligning with the house’s rhytm.
What else ...
It is lo ated between two small villages, both easoly reachable by car or bicycle. We are happy to lend bikes to our volunteers, so they can move around freely and enjoy the surroundings and take a dip in the nearby river.
There are also bus connections that take about an hour and drop you right in the center of Barcelona- offering the perfect balance between rural calm and urban exploration.
