    Description

Living in the countryside in the middle of the Netherlands, our listed house provides an excellent opportunity to see the best part of the Netherlands. Our family consists of Julie (8yr), Jack (6yr) and myself (41yr) and don't forget our lovely dog Mist (labrador, 3 yr). We are hard working, caring people that enjoy the company of other nationalities and love the idea of a cultural exchange.

Living in the countryside in the middle of the Netherlands, our listed house provides an excellent opportunity to see the best part of the Netherlands. Surrounded by medieval castles and old farm houses this is a treat for anyone that enjoys nature. Cities like Utrecht and Amersfoort are just a 20 minutes drive; we have excellent bus/train connection to all major cities and in addition we provide you with a car and bike for your own use. we are very flexible, and depending your own wishes we can prepare a schedule that gives you all the time to see and explore the Netherlands

  • Help

    Help

We are looking for someone that loves to jump in at times to help with the kids. Bring them to school, appointments; sports etc. Do some babysitting, creative playing or just play outside with them. In addition we have a lovely and well trained dog that loves attention. So hopefully the traveller likes to take care/ walk with dog at those moments that we are all away from home. Around the house is a beautyful garden and we also started recently our own vegetable garden (and we are keeping chickens). So if you feel like it, you are more than welcome to show us your gardening skills. Although we all love cooking, there still is ample opportunity to prepare your own favourite/signature dish.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We live outside a small village in the middle of the country. Our house is a very beautifull listed manor house, built on the foundations of an old castle. Although the house is large enough to accomodate for guests/travellers we experienced that they usually prefer to have their own privacy in our gardenhouse (80m2; fully equiped kitchen, bathroom, livingarea, double bed).
