    Description

    Hi!
I'm Ronny, long time as passed before I finally have made the decision to change my life, escaping from normal and busy life in the center of a industrial town in the north west of Italy.
Finally I broke phisical and mental chains to follow the freedom of being myself, to bloom in harmony with the earth and nature.
Then I decided to move in a place far away from negative thoughts and any other kinds of pollution.
    There I met Eva!
She is been traveling the world for 20 leaning about life and also voluntering in different projects. She is passionate about movement, bodywork, meditation and community living.
Togheter we are focused in human permaculture living life.
Now we stay in the south-east side of La Palma, in a nice place called San Simon. It's no so distant from the capital Santa Cruz and the airport. It's surrounded by mountains, forest, and it has wonderful sea and islands views. If you like nature and a quiet life you'll be happy.
We welcome people who know or want to know more about sustainable way of life, recycle and reuse, consciousness, syntropic and regenerative agriculture and permaculture.
We are in the exciting first stages of planning, to transform this land in a spot of abundance and happiness.

We are happy to welcome volunteers who want to be part of our daily life on the finca. Here, we share a common space, and maintaining respect and care for this environment is essential for us. We believe in creating a harmonious place where everyone contributes to the well-being of the community.
Our daily tasks vary and include many different aspects of farm life.
Some of the things you may be involved in are:
    - Cooking: Preparing meals for everyone, using fresh ingredients from our garden whenever possible.
    - Cleaning: Taking care of shared spaces to keep them clean and comfortable for everyone.
    - Watering the Plants: Helping our greenery thrive by ensuring they get the care they need.
    - Animal Care: Looking after our animals with love and attention.
    - Pruning and Planting: Maintaining our plants, trees, and vegetable gardens.
    - Various Farm Tasks: Depending on the season, we might need help with different agricultural activities.

We also have our children around, and life here can sometimes be a little chaotic! If you join us, we really appreciate an extra hand in keeping things organized and creating a peaceful flow in our daily routine.

Most importantly, we welcome open-hearted proactive people who are willing to share, learn, and respect the land and the people around them. If this sounds like the experience you are looking for, we would love to have you here!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    Your Room
You will have a basic room with a cozy bed. Some time you may have to share the room with another volunteer:
We provide mosquito nets, bedding, towels, and laundry facilities. The toilet system is eco-friendly (hu-manure toilet), aligning with our commitment to sustainability.

    Work and Meals
Volunteers are expected to contribute a solid 25 hours per week. In exchange we offer your accommodation and community lunch during the voluntering days.
Note that your free days, if you decide to stay in the farm, you´ll need to organize your meals
Please note that we follow a vegetarian diet, so no meat is consumed on the finca.

    Community and Privacy
Our finca is set in a beautiful and spacious environment, offering a deep connection with nature. While you will have your own space, privacy is limited, as we share common areas. Living here is a great opportunity to practice and embrace community living, where cooperation and mutual respect create a harmonious experience.

    Our Downshifting Lifestyle
We are in a process of downshifting, consciously simplifying our lives and reducing unnecessary consumption. As part of this journey, we have chosen to live without a fridge and without a water heater. This means adapting to a more natural rhythm, embracing simplicity, and finding creative ways to live comfortably without the conveniences of modern consumerist life. If you are open to this experience and can adapt to a simpler way of living, you will find this a truly enriching and eye-opening environment.
