    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The place is located in the middle of a forest in deep connection with nature. At the same time, we are located at 1.5 hours from the capital, Paris, in train. The nearest village is 15 minutes by road. We have shared car and bicycles.

Being an ecovillage, we have many regenerative eco concepts and technologies already installed or under development so you will have the opportunity to about each of them (rain water recovery, solar panels, permaculture gardening, eco construction and renovation, compost, spiruline farm, ...) and even to experiment whatever will appeal you in terms of low impact, low tech, regeneration, ... We are a place open to innovation and experiences to learn together!

The community life, governance and how we live all together is full of learnings and you will be able to be fully involved in it. We are an inclusive group and are willing to welcome you as an active member of our movement.

The spirituality is also part of our daily life without any label on it, just being connected and stay mindful.

The Art and the creativity is one of the pillar of the place having many musicians / artists as inhabitants of the ecovillage but also welcoming nomad artists for some periods of time. Again, it is a place open to experimentations.

Many members are deeply knowledgeable about nutrition and you will for sure learn a lot about alive and nutritious ways of consuming food, cooking, etc.

Finally, the project aims to act positively in order to build a better tomorrow, the volunteer could be part of an adventure that impact positively on social and environmental aspects.

  • Help

    Help

The main help will be about taking care and do some activities with a child of 2 years old (child who speaks French and English so an English speaker would be best). A person having a child centered and positive approach is required. It will be daily babysitting (help for the meals, playing, reading, developing some activities for the child would be amazing) and very occasionally some evenings.
Living in the ecovillage with us will offer many other activities (gardening, eco construction projects, low tech projects, events for the community,...) out of the babysitting hours as the other members of the ecovillage are also taking care of the child for few hours by week.

The kitchen is also shared one but a small independent kitchen can be installed easily if needed.
The meals can be taken individually even if we prefer sharing,. At least once a week, we share a meal all together with all the members and often we share meals by smaller groups.
The food will be provided on a vegan basic diet (but the volunteer is free to buy and eat non vegan food if he/she wants).
