    Description

I'm in the south of France, about an hour north of the Spanish border, with a friendly dog. I moved house in June 2025 and I'm still unpacking. I damaged my shoulder while moving, and have just got back from the residential post-op physio centre. To allow my shoulder to heal fully (up to a year!) I'm not supposed to be doing anything except the lightest of duties and exercises for the next 2 months. The new house is still an old house and has been empty for a few years so plenty of decorating to do as well as minor plumbing, picture hanging, maybe even tiling the brand new kitchen. Since I moved in the central heating has been replaced (trying to learn how to drive it) and I'm currently sorting out replacing the windows. All the usual amenities and such as Netflix and fibre internet.
The 5 hours a day, 5 days a week agreement is fine, but in case you've not read between the lines, there's a lot of variety in the things I need help with. From dog walking and cooking (not all the time of course) or painting and DIY there's plenty to get on with. I'm happy to negotiate what the 5/5 deal covers or not. With the appropriate license you're also welcome to use my (quite old but runs ok) car to have a look around the area, and I'm happy to recommend places to visit. Although the reviews mention Annette she is no longer on the scene.

The village is great, although I've only just moved into it and I'm still getting to know a lot of it - surrounded by vineyards and located a few km from the Canal du Midi. Nearest garage and cashpoint 8km. I have bicycles that you can use to get around, or you can also take the bus. There is a bus stop outside the house.
I prefer not to take workawayers under the age of 25, please let me know if you smoke, I'm not a fan of tobacco...

    Space for parking camper vans

I don't have a space for a camper van immediately around the house but it's a very friendly village with a campsite that I believe can accommodate them. I'm new to the village so we'll update this as I find out details!
