Description
I welcome you to a former 19th century Norman farmhouse on 2 hectares of land with meadow and "bocage", apple and pear orchard and vegetable garden. There is a project to set up an educational farm with ponies, donkeys, a henhouse, peacocks and apiaries.... This is to welcome schools and other audiences. Among the works to be carried out, there is the rehabilitation of old buildings (cob) with the construction of a bread oven, a concert hall, tipis and huts...
Our family consists of 5 people, a father and his 4 children.
J'accueille dans un ancien corps de ferme Normand du 19ème siècle sur 2 hectares de terrain avec prairie et "bocage" , verger de pommiers et de poiriers et potager. Il y a pour projet, la mise en place d'une ferme pédagogique avec des poneys, des ânes, un poulailler, des paons et ruchers... Ceci pour accueillir des écoles et tout autre public. Parmi les travaux à réaliser, il y a la réhabilitation d'anciens bâtiments (torchis) avec construction d'un four à pain, d'une salle de concert, tipis et cabanes...
Notre famille se compose de 5 personnes, un papa et ses 4 enfants.

Help with storage and home maintenance. Maintenance of green spaces, buildings, taking care of animals and the apiary. Assist in the creation of a new orchard, a permaculture vegetable garden. Construction of tipis and huts to welcome the public. Maintenance of a biomass boiler and production of wood chips from hedge pruning. Maintaining biodiversity (ponds, bird and bat nesting boxes, insect shelters). Manufacture of a bread oven, production of organic bread.
Aide au rangement et entretien du domicile. Entretien des espaces verts, des bâtiments, prendre soin des animaux et du rucher. Aider à la création d'un nouveau verger, d'un potager en permaculture. Construction de tipis et de cabanes pour l'accueil du public. Entretien d'une chaudière à biomasse et production de plaquettes de bois à partir de l'élagage des haies. Maintien de la biodiversité (marre, nichoirs à oiseaux et chauves-souris, refuges à insectes). Fabrication d'un four à pain, production de pain biologique.

Accommodation
We offer a single room with access to the common areas of the house (bathroom, toilet, kitchen, office with internet access, dining room and living room with TV).
Meals mainly vegetarian from vegetable garden and henhouse products. Meals will be cooked and shared together. The meal times are flexible according to the availability of each person.
Nous proposons une chambre individuelle avec accès aux pièces communes de la maison (salle de bain, W.C, cuisine, bureau avec accès internet, salle à manger et salon avec téléviseur).
Repas principalement végétariens à partir des produits du potager et du poulailler. Les repas seront cuisinés et partagés ensemble. Les plages horaires des repas sont flexibles en fonction de la disponibilité de chacun.
What else ...
Our old farm is located between Rouen, Amiens and Beauvais. We are 2 hours by train from Paris and 1 hour from the Norman and Picard coasts (bay of somme). There are many opportunities for hiking and cycling along many country paths.
Notre ferme ancienne se situe entre Rouen, Amiens et Beauvais. Nous sommes à 2h de train de Paris et à 1h du littoral Normand et Picard (baie de somme). Il y a de nombreuses possibilités de randonnées pédestres ou à vélo grâce à de nombreux chemins de campagne.
