  Hello travelers, we welcome you to our boutique hotel in the most beautiful region of the Dominican Republic, we are located in the town of Las Galeras on the Samana Peninsula.
  Join us in the complete transformation of this stunning property overlooking the jungle with panoramic ocean views. We are nearly complete with the remodel and ready to make the place even more beautiful with some final touches.
  We have space for 3 volunteers to help bring this to completion. We are healing the land, cleansing the space, adding ecotourism options through gardening, solar projects and open to creative collaboration. We are hospitality focused with love for nature, the sea, and the jungle.

  As part of the exchange we offer accommodation and food, as well as the opportunity to participate in an extraordinary project. We welcome you to be a part of the transformation and restoration of our stunning jungle retreat. Join our team and practice your Spanish and English.
  Work in the mornings and have the afternoon and evenings to explore or relax.
  This is a place for nature lovers. Just a 10 minute bus ride to beautiful Caribbean beaches or an hour hike through the jungle to a stunning beach and towering cliffs for rock climbers. We are in a remote location so the bus is a 15 minute walk to the main road.
  Our yoga shala is an amazing place to practice yoga, meditation, dance… we also have an open deck for stargazing and full moon ceremonies.
  Volunteers have their own private balcony to enjoy sunrise, watch the storms come in, or relax and enjoy some peace.

  Help

  Currently we are in the remodeling phase at our boutique hotel. We have a beautiful space overlooking the jungle with panoramic ocean views. You will wake up every morning to stunning views.
  Currently looking for 3 volunteers to help with gardening, meal prep, and a talented muralist.
  We are looking for someone now to work in the garden helping to restore the jungle, you will help with healing our plumeria trees from removing the damaged leaves and washing the leaves, propagating new plants for teas and edible flower gardens, plant walls and other creative gardening projects. This will require someone healthy enough to go on jungle expeditions to transplant unique flora and be able to walk along uneven grounds and work in a hot humid climate.
  Starting in June we will need help with cooking and organizing the kitchen, meal planning, preparing meals for the staff and future menu planning.
  We are also looking for a mural artist with an eye for design, we have based our room design on the 4 elements Fuego, Tierra, Agua and Aire. You would need to be available starting the end of May to June.

  Accommodation

  We have a beautiful large room with a private bathroom. The room is for 3 volunteers, has 3 individual beds and is setup for co-ed living. There is a ceiling fan and air conditioning and a solar powered hot water heater.
  We provide 3 meals a day on working days and access to the kitchen for self prepared food on days off.

  In your free time you can enjoy all the delights of the beautiful Samana peninsula. We have here the most beautiful beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails, coral reefs and sunshine all year round. Las Galeras was voted the number one trending destination in 2024 by travel and leisure and you get to experience it before the crowds arrive.

  We offer Starlink which is sufficient for Zoom meetings and streaming. Currently with a storm we have 40 mbps but without the storms we are closer to 70-90mbps. Your room is shared but comes with a desk for you to use.
