  Hello, we are a family of 5 living on a small farm 30 km north of Copenhagen. We are setteling in to farm life, with kitchen garden and a small apple orchard, and various other projects. We are multi cultural (american/danish) family who speaks both english and danish.

  We are multi cultural (american/danish) family who speaks both english and danish. Staying here you can get to work on different projects, and there will also be plenty of time to explore copenhagen and the surrounding area. We have some bikes that you can use to get around (there are also busses). At the farm there is plenty of space to both engage with us, the family and space to be your self. Workawayers would be able to learn about life around a small farm in Denmark, and gain experience with gardening and about establishing and maintaining a garden.

  Help

  We would love help with gardening, and various ad hoc work around the farm – this could include: tasks on the old chicken coop, diy, stacking firewood and then help around the house.
  The task would depend a lot on what the workawayers are interested in. It could also be helping with family dinners, spending time with the kids. We are not looking for help with the agricultural business (apple orchard and grass production).

  We currently have 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. We also have plenty of opportunity to stay a bit more "off the grid", like in a tent, if someone would want that :)

  The farm is located about one hour away from copenhagen (using bus/train), 30 minutes in car. The beach is 5 km away. We have some bikes that you can use to get around (there are also busses).

  Pongo

  He is a dansk-svensk gårdhund, and he is kinda timid,is a little yappy, and friendly when he gets to know someone. Really good dog!
