A community project made up of families and educators.
We manage a small school framed in a model of alternative pedagogy, democratic and active education, where kids go at their own pace. We understand learning is respect of individual needs of each child and the freedom of expression.
A dinamic learning and experience of activities to achieve a meaningful knowledge. We accompany children from 3 to 12 years old.
Our project was founded as an educational cooperative formed by children, educators and families. Our primary aim is to offer an education based on the benefits of gaming have on learning. This educational tool has become mainstream in our school. Hence our will is to offer a space for playing, growing and learning for children, their families and the adults that accompany them. Our cooperative structure is based on sociocracy and non-violent communication. We have the will of social transformation and we believe that the individual becomes stronger in community.
We take our role as adults (both parents and educators) and we place ourselves in the project, feeling that we are mirrors in which children reflect (and vice versa).
We are looking for a fluent English speaker who is interested in alternative education who is an enthusiastic to guide and set up workshops for a group of primary school children at least 3 mornings per week.
Some concrete tasks will be:
-Interact and speak in English with children and adults during school hours.
