  Description

  I'm Mehmet, living in the farm with our friends just outside Türkmen village. I am here with Mestan, Zülal and ilgaz.
  
  Our farm we started 10 years ago, Mestan and his wife, they have a house in the village and slowly they started to build houses on the land . One year ago we decided to open the land for other people I came one year ago to live on this land. We are slowly building this up and constantly improving the land. The land is about 70,000sqm. We are on a mountain looking over the valley to the sea.
  
  We want to live an ecological life and share with other people we want to protect this area around and keep the magic of the nature and keep the harmony.
  
  We are open for long or short time for hosting once we establish if you are a good fit for the land.
  
  We would like a minimum of two weeks stay, in the summertime we work after breakfast early and rest in the day to avoid the heat, then again in the afternoon. You are to help for five hours a day but you are welcome to join in longer if you like, it is important for us to work in harmony and we value enjoying the work together, we like communication and if you are with out tired or something let us know.
  
  It would be great to welcome families to play with our young one on the land.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  This area is an ecological farm Mestan's family have been farming here for many generations and there is a lot of knowledge in community. You can see the real Turkish village life, sometimes we share time with the people of the village and are together working, the people of the village are very happy to meet people from around the world.
  
  on the mountain we are surrounded by nature and have amazing views and sunsets. We have a beautiful stream down the hill with a magical waterfall. You can spend time enjoying both the cultural aspects of being here and the natural aspects.
  
  We hope you can also join our community and share any gifts or knowledge you might have, this is a very special place and we love harmony and working together to create something beautiful.

  Help

  We have a farm in the mountains the we currently need help with the following things:
  
  - new chicken house
  - we are building a new outdoor kitchen space
  - watering trees ( we have olives and fruit trees
  - preparing the land for farming
  -grafting trees in autum
  - enjoying the waterfall
  
  We also grow grapes and olives
  
  - in October we harvest the grapes
  - November we harvest olives

  Accommodation

  We have some places for accomadation, we have two rooms available for volunteers, one room has two beds the other also has two beds. In spring and summer time you can also make camping if you like sleeping under the stars.
  
  We are currently building new kitchen we need to finish for winter time to stay warm and have a nice gathering place, but at the moment we cook outside on the fire and have a small kitchen, we eat delicious food from our land and we all prepare together the food.
  
  In the village we grow our own flour and make our own bread, we make our own olives and cheese, we also grow our own fruits, essentially we don't really buy so many things from outside and we produce most of our own food.

  What else ...

  In your time off you can relax in the hammok, go for a walk to the waterfall and swim 1km, read or paint, the choice is yours. The farm is into the forest with oak, pine, wild plum and trees. If you want to make something in your own time you can. Sometimes we go for trip beach or visit other friends or different farms.
