Our hostel is located in the heart of beautiful San Pedro la Laguna on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.
Our crew is a great mix of locals and tourists who work hard but who have plenty of time to explore all that Lake Atitlan has to offer.
We offer 20 dorm beds (4 beds per dorm) , 7 private rooms with shared bathroom and 3 private apartments. Our bar has a beautiful garden area to relax in, a free pool table, picnic tables for board games and a bonfire pit. We are in the process of constructing a free book exchange reading area and installing a solar powered hot tub.
We have theme nights, live music, pool competitions, and a daily happy hour from 5-7pm.
Helping with Tourists
We are looking for volunteers to work approximately 35 hours per week. Your primary responsibilities would include; checking guests in and out, answering guest questions, doing laundry, helping our regular staff as needed, and most importantly making sure our guests are happy and having fun!
Ideally looking for a minimum of two month but send us a message and we may be able to accommodate a shorter time frame.

A room in our staff house that has a basic kitchen, shared bathroom, pila for dishes and laundry, and large garden. The house is located a short 8 min walk away from the hostel and is approximately a 10 min walk from the local market.
San Pedro offers lots of outdoors activities; hiking, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding. San Pedro is also quickly becoming a hot spot for Spanish schools with 12-15 different schools, offering various teaching styles and price ranges. There is a ton of international food options, and sight seeing is an easy tuk tuk or boat ride away! There are many other towns to explore on Lake Atitlan and we can help you get to the ones that interest you the most.
