I am a clothing designer working in studio and farming on Salt Spring Island while part of a fun and family oriented small community a on bright and sunny 18 acres farm with 3 ponds and forested area. We have apple orchards, grape vines, berries and vegetable gardens to care for and expand.
We are involved in Agri-Tourism and will hold events here on the farm with celebrations for learning and participation. Our work season is May to Oct. for hosting and I would love to share/ work and trade with others who would like to become integrated in this culture, learn about natural lifestyle, help out and become part of our community for a time. Longer stays are encouraged and additional campsites can be provided.
Together we will work a couple afternoons a week on sustainable and permaculture type of organic gardening practices for growing, drying, seed saving and value added farm products.
