Description
We are a small family (Irish/Swiss) of Mum and two girls living in the idyllic Swiss Alps, in a typical chalet near the village of Gryon approx 2 hours from Geneva. I’m an environmental scientist working at the local University on climate and social change. We live quite simply, or try to anyway! but life is busy and although I love DIY, I can’t get around to everything. The girls are 12 & 11 and go to the local schools, they are fun, outgoing and mostly well behaved! We love cooking, swimming and arts and crafts. Dad lives not too far away and minds the girls regularly at weekends. I travel a lot for work. We would love to welcome you into our house for a few weeks to enjoy the Swiss mountain experience and help us out.

We love eating healthily, and enjoy cooking a lot. All of your meals will be provided. During the week we eat a continental breakfast at around 7am, but if you’re not up by then, help yourself to whatever you want. Lunch is usually light and we each cater for ourselves, make whatever sandwiches you like! For dinner a meal will be cooked, we usually share this and each person cooks one meal for everyone else once a week. My daughter Leah loves baking. The cost of the shopping will be covered by me and I usually go to the supermarket once a week. What else ...
All the mountain sports and pools at Villars. Lake Geneva and Montreux. Train stop 50meters from house. Village of Gryon 10mins by foot.
