Description
Hello,
We are a family of four: Frederic (44), Marie Caroline (42) and our 2 boys, Arthur (6) and Gaspard (4,5); and a lovely dog, Toffee, happily living in an ancient house located in a forest bordering the city, in the western suburb of Paris.
A perfect mix of countryside and city life!
We have a big garden and spend most of our time outside, especially during spring and summer seasons!
We would like to welcome an English-speaking native young woman / au pair to our home, in order to allow our 2 boys (Arthur, 6 and Gaspard, 4,5 years old) meet people from a different culture and learn English. The workawayer will be included and welcomed in our family life but can also have independency as the bedroom and bathroom for her is in a quiet/almost independent section of our home. Plus, our house is close to the city and easily connected to Paris, which is accessible by train in 25mn straight!Types of help and learning opportunities

We are both French but have lived a few years abroad in Germany and Ireland for Frederic and Sri Lanka for Marie Caroline. We are speaking English fluently. And have a lot of foreign friends.
Workawayers will be able to enjoy their stay in our friendly family.
We can cook together, visit places together in Paris, Versailles or so many other places the western suburb of Paris has to offer. During holidays, we also frequently travel to Brittany, in a stunning region and village by the sea where we have a place too, the workawayer would be welcome to discover this confidential gem with us!
Workawayers can practice and learn French with us if they want to.Projects involving children

Help
We are looking for some help with our boys, consisting of school pickups (bike or walking distance), organize – indoor or outdoor - activities with them at home, play with them, in English preferably; and help with the evening bath and dinner preparation.
We would need the workawayer to take care of Arthur and Gaspard during:
- the evenings (4 or 5pm to 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
- on Wednesday afternoons (2pm to 7pm).
- 1 babysitting in the evening per week (day to be defined),
- walking the dog with the kids during the week can also be part of the mission ;-)
Additional assistance is most welcome for cooking, or in the garden, depending on the person’s tastes and abilities ;-)
We are especially interested in long stays, 2 months minimum, as our boys are still small in age, a fast "turn over" in our family would not be comfortable for themLanguages

A comfortable bedroom (1 big bed, TV, desk, dressing) with view on the garden + personal bathroom, in a remote section of the house, with easy access to the garden.
Access to internet is included. Bikes are available, train station to Paris (amongst others) is available at 7mn walking distance. What else ...
Paris is accessible in 25mn train trip, leading direct to Saint Lazare station (central Paris)
Living in the forest means we can enjoy nature, listen to birds and owl warbling in the nighttime, practise sport (running, walking, doing yoga, …) really easily as we are living right in the nature. Even though, French bakery and a few shops are easily accessible by bicycle and the city is just round the corner.A little more information
