Description
The site is a permaculture experiment located in the Serra da Aratanha. It is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in a calm place in tune with the rhythm of nature. Its biodiversity provides daily discoveries of animals and plants. Ispinho e Fulô is also a poem by the communist poet Patativa do Assaré. Permaculture is the main tool for planning and carrying out activities integrating agroforestry, vegetable gardens, ornamental and medicinal gardens, chicken coops, meliponaries, roof gardens, bioconstructions and people. We hope to welcome people willing to exchange knowledge, experiences and affections and interact deeply with nature and its rhythm.
O Sítio é um experimento de permacultura situado na Serra da Aratanha. Ideal para quem busca fazer uma imersão num lugar calmo em sintonia com o ritmo da natureza. Sua biodiversidade proporciona descobertas diárias de animais e plantas. Ispinho e Fulô é também uma poesia do poeta comunista Patativa do Assaré.
A permacultura é a principal ferramenta para planejar e realizar as atividades integrando agrofloresta, horta, jardim ornamental e medicinal, galinheiro, meliponário, telhado jardim, bioconstruções e pessoas.
Esperamos acolher pessoas dispostas a trocar conhecimentos, experiências e afetos e interagir profundamente com a natureza e o seu ritmo.

We have several projects underway and we hope to welcome volunteers who can support us with their skills: - Bioconstruction: meliponary, dry bathroom, laundry, wood oven, pizza oven, mud wall, rustic stairs on sloping terrain, domes... - Agroforestry: pruning, weeding, clearing with a hoe, planting, harvesting. - Garden: watering, weeding, planting, harvesting. - Others: making seedlings, cultivating seedbeds, collecting seeds, painting signposts, managing compost bins and chicken coops, opening and marking trails...
Temos vários projetos em andamento e esperamos receber voluntários que possam nos apoiar com suas habilidades:
- Bioconstrução: meliponário, banheiro seco, lavanderia, forno a lenha, forno de pizza, parede de barro, escadas rústicas em terrenos inclinados, domos...
- Agrofloresta: podar, capinar, roçar com enxada, plantar, colher.
- Horta: regar, capinar, plantar, colher.
- Outros: fazer mudas, cultivar sementeiras, coletar sementes, pintar placas de sinalização, manejar composteira e galinheiro, abrir e sinalizar trilhas...

Trails in the Atlantic Forest with swimming in the stream during the rainy season. Stargazing at night. Reading books about nature, art and permaculture (library available). Singing, playing the guitar around the campfire. Jungle bathing with observation of birds, insects, frogs... trees, flowers and seeds... There is public transport up to 2 km away from the site.
