    Hello fellow travelers, we are a beachfront hostel looking for volunteers. We are located in a small friendly community in a magical beach with a mountain rainforest as background. Ecuador is considered one of the most biodiverse countries and we are lucky enough to live surrounded by it. Wake up to a peaceful , friendly and chilling environment.

    Yoga instructor program:
    Please specify if your are interested in this position or the standard volunteer tasks. The yoga program has been designed to provide free sessions to our guests, volunteers and community members. Providing one morning and one sunset session daily.
    12-14 hours maximum
    1 day off

    Standard volunteer position tasks:
    Hostel volunteer responsibilities:
    Help providing customer service, such as; welcoming the guests, check-in/outs, providing general information, WiFi, keys, instructions, etc.
    Cleaning of the hostel, cafe bar, common areas, etc. including dorms, suites and tiny homes, sweeping, mopping, dishes, ovens, fridges, bathrooms, etc., meal preparation, organizing, maintenance and daily guests services and activities (at least one month commitment ). Hostal is directly on the beach and surf spot, we have kayaks, surfboards (for all levels) and stand up paddles available for our volunteers for free. We love water activities, spearfishing, snorkeling, kayaking, etc, but surfing is our main activity. We also provide yoga sessions and surf lessons. We are a family of 3 from Utah. We have a friendly wolfdog named Lobito, 4 cats (Cash, Sol, Chapito and Güero). We provide lodging, activities, tours and excursions to travelers around the world. We have a small café/bar and we serve dinner and breakfasts.

    We are located in a small Ecuadorian community, where surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, spearfishing, hiking, biking, etc. are things you could do. There is also different islands, horse back rides, trekking and other water sports. Tours to Isla de la Plata and Machalilla on whale season and beach walk at Los Friles are very popular attractions as well. Transportation is frequent and economic (bus or taxi).

    Because we always have help from 6 volunteers, the work at the hostal is pretty easy. Everybody is easygoing and get along great, the hostal has a great atmosphere where strangers become friends. We need help with general cleaning, errands and help with guests.

    We offer free accommodation in a shared dorm with 6 beds, shared bathrooms and kitchen. Free breakfast is included in the program. The volunteers room has 2 terraces, lockers and A/C. Our volunteers have access to all of our installations and toys of course: 2 swimming pool, jacuzzi, surfboards, kayaks, ping pong table, movie room, etc. You will feel at home!

    The hostal has a special co-working space area for digital nomads. However, high speed internet is provided in all of our installations. In our 3 buildings and common areas.
