Workaway opportunity on beautiful Hvar Island, Croatia

I am looking for one friendly, reliable person or a couple to stay at my place in Vrboska on the island of Hvar and help out a little with daily life around the house and garden.

My home is in a lovely, peaceful setting, close to the sea and surrounded by beautiful nature. This could suit someone who enjoys a calmer lifestyle, simple living, gardening, and spending time in a charming small town on a Croatian island.

Help would mainly include things like:

    watering the garden
    light gardening and outdoor help
    occasional help around the house
possibly some small DIY or practical help, depending on your skills

I am looking for somebody kind, respectful, easy to be around, and comfortable with a peaceful home environment. I value clear communication, mutual respect, and people who are reasonably independent but also warm and helpful.

In exchange, I can offer accommodation in a simple private space and the chance to enjoy island life in a very beautiful part of Croatia. This would suit somebody who appreciates nature, sea air, slower rhythms, and a more personal, home-based experience rather than a busy hostel atmosphere.

I have a cat, so it would be best if you are comfortable around cats.

I would especially welcome someone who genuinely likes the idea of being here, not just someone looking for free accommodation. For me, the right exchange is about mutual goodwill, ease, and a fair balance.

Please write a little about yourself, your experience, how long you would like to stay, and why this place appeals to you.
