Description
We are a small family, Lamya (32 years old, mum), Clément (32 years old, dad), Gauthier (3 years old) and Oscar our 8 year old French bulldog. We live in a charming little Basque village: Bidache. Bidache is 30 min far from the ocean and 1 hour from the first mountain.
Clément often is on the move with is job. To have a workawayer is a good way for us to meet new people, discover news cultures and have some help with our home (cooking, tidying, gardening...) and with our child Gauthier.
I would like to welcome people who can help me with the maintenance of the house and take care of my little Gauthier, but also to be able to share time together, our culture, our region.

Nous sommes une petite famille, Lamya (32 ans, la maman), Clément (32 ans, le papa), Gauthier (3 ans) et Oscar notre bouledogue français de 8 ans. Nous habitons un charmant petit village basque: Bidache. Bidache se situe à 30 min de l'océan et à 1h des premières montagnes.
Clément étant souvent en déplacement professionnel, accueillir un workawayer est un moyen pour nous de découvrir de nouvelles personnes, de nouvelles cultures mais aussi d'avoir du soutien et de la compagnie pendant ces absences.
Nous aimerions accueillir une personne pouvant nous aider dans l'entretien de la maison (ménage, cuisine, jardin...) mais aussi passer du temps avec notre fils Gauthier.

Originally from Brittany, we are in love with our region, the Basque Country. We would be delighted to introduce you to the south west of France, whether it is the cultural side, the corners of nature between sea and mountains, but also the gastronomic side very dear to our hearts.
Bretons d'origine, nous sommes amoureux de notre région qu'est le Pays Basque. Nous serions ravis de vous faire découvrir le sud ouest de la France, que ce soit le coté culturel, les coins de nature entre mer et montagne, mais aussi le côté gastronomique très cher à notre coeur.

Help
We are looking for a person to whom we can entrust my son Gauthier with confidence. Gauthier love to learn and discover, he will be delighted to be able to discover another language and to be able to play with someone other than his parents. There are no hours of care, just allow us to take time for us, for my work or for outings. We also ask for a little help at home, cleaning, cooking, gardening, or even taking Oscar our dog for short walks.
Nous recherchons une personne à qui nous pouvons confier notre fils Gauthier en toute confiance.
Gauthier a soif d'apprendre et de découvrir, il sera enchanté de pouvoir découvrir une autre langue et de pouvoir jouer avec quelqu'un d'autre que ses parents. Il n'y a pas d'heures de garde, juste nous permettre de temps en temps de prendre du temps pour nous, pour notre travail ou pour des sorties.
Nous demandons également un peu d'aide à la maison, ménage, cuisine, jardinage, ou bien emmener Oscar notre chien faire des petites balades.

Accommodation
We live in a charming little village in the Basque Country, Bidache. Our house is located in the heart of the village, which allows you to do everything on foot. We have a great house with a small garden, our visitor will have his own room in our house. The idea would be to share our meals together, but of course, everyone can live in their corner as soon as they feel the need.
Nous habitons dans un charmant petit village du Pays Basque, Bidache.
Notre maison est située au coeur du village, ce qui permet de pouvoir tout faire à pied. Nous avons une grande maison avec un petit jardin, notre visiteur aura sa propre chambre dans notre maison. L'idée serait de partager nos repas ensemble, mais bien sur, chacun pourra vivre dans son coin dès qu'il en ressentira le besoin.
What else ...
Located between sea and mountains, we are 30 minutes from the Basque coast (Anglet, Biarritz, Bayonne). We are also 2 hours from Bordeaux, and 1 hour from the Spanish border. In our village, there are buses that go to Bayonne regularly, from there you can go wherever you want. We also have a second vehicle if needed.
Situés entre mer et montagne, sommes à 30 min de la côte basque (Anglet, Biarritz, Bayonne).
Nous sommes aussi à 2h de Bordeaux, et à 1h de la frontière espagnole.
Dans notre village, il y a des bus qui rejoignent Bayonne régulièrement, de là vous pourrez aller là où vous voulez.
Nous avons aussi un deuxième véhicule si besoin.
