    Description

Our main house was sadly split in half by a massive tree that fell during Hurricane Erick on June 19th 2025. We are now focused on rebuilding as soon as possible and hopefully finish by August 2025.

We are a commencing Family owned organic farm and natural reserve on the coast of Oaxaca

As we are starting out our farm, we are focused on managing our retreat center in the format of glamping and camping for conscious travelers in order to receive an income to continue the farm and our conservation efforts.

Our project aims to incorporate different agroecological systems such as bio intensive farming beds and agroforestry, as well as art and design everywhere we can.

The farm is comprised of 28 hectares of which 21 are still primary forest and are destined towards conservation.
We are located next to Huatulco National Park, 2 km away from the nearest beach and 12 km away from huatulco international airport. There are 4 beautiful beaches to visit in the nearby area.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The farm is a great place for cultural exchange as we welcome diversity in our visitors while interacting with the local community.
We are a family owned farm. We are artists who aim to create beautiful and functional spaces with a strong focus on art and design on everything we do. We look forward to sharing our vision and to welcoming others to share and explore their artistic expresión.
We are also involved with the local community who often share with us their ancestral knowledge of the bio region and it’s characteristics, we strive to share as much as we can as well.
Here there is the possibility to learn and share knowledge in several capacities such as:
    - permaculture
    - agroecology
    - eco technology
    - local biodiversity (and nature in general)
    - basic construction techniques
    - art and design
    - languages (we speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a bit of French)
Workawayers will be doing projects hand in hand with us and our team.
We look forward to exchange knowledge and share experiences with our visitors.

For the moment, we are looking for volunteers dedicated to carpentry and building. Since we need to focus on rebuilding as soon as possible, we do need volunteers with a good amount of experience and energy. We would also like to start making furniture with some of the wood recovered from the fallen tree.

If you are interested, please write for more information.

Our volunteers are quite self managed and must be able to take on simple projects responsibly on their own, and / or with others.

Each volunteer has a main focus, yet we may all work together in other areas as well.
