    Description

    Kia ora

My name is Rosemary and I live on a 37 acres farm with 14 horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Our registered charity provides equine assisted learning programmes to a wide range of people in need and those at risk. We are looking for volunteers to help with the general running of the charity. What would have my life be more wonderful is assistance with the farm chores, and right now have some painting and gardening projects on the go.

We live a holistic, vegan lifestyle and are passionate about health and wellness. We're looking for skilled/semi-skilled people preferably long term. We offer accommodation, homecooked fare, yoga and natural horse friendship.

Our horses are part of the family and are an integral part of the programmes we offer - they help to heal people with trauma-based issues. We hold space for people and horses to come together and let the horses create their magic.

We have lively and interesting groups of people coming through from filmmakers to educational and non-profit groups and organisations, kids camps, as well as individuals who wish to explore our unique learning through Equine Assisted Learning and Natural Horse Friendship.

The farm is situated on ancient sandhills adjacent to Woodhill Forest, close to Lake Kereta and within hearing and walking distance to Muriwai Beach, and the Tasman Sea. We are less than an hour from downtown Auckland and the iconic village of Helensville and the famous thermal hot springs at Parakai is only 20 minutes away.

We have excellent facilities for everyone – HORSES & HUMANS!!

Contact us if you are interested in helping - we'd love your energy and input.

    Warm regards
    Rosemary
