    Description

My name is Jayne and I would like to invite a workawayer to live with my family; my partner Jake ,2 daughters (Indie 3yrs and Gracie 6mtns), and our dog Louie. We live in a beautiful town, Ennistymon, located on the west coast of Ireland in Co. Clare. It truly is a special place that harnesses amazing landscapes and community spirit.

My reason for hosting is I would like help in our home as we navigate life with 2 young children. It's a really precious time in our lives and I believe having extra hands around will enrich the quality of our home environment, our relationships and help create the village-like support needed for our family. The help will include; child minding, dog walking, general housework, cooking, food shopping, laundry, etc. I am absolutely open to dividing house chores to suit your strengths or desirable jobs so we can have a chat about what you are most interested in.

We are very intentional in our approach to parenting and consciously discuss this topic so we can learn and grow together in this wonderful adventure! As you will be part of our children's lives we ask that you are open to engaging in discussions with us so we can share our experience with you.

Our home is located 10 minutes from Ennistymon. The surrounding area includes, Lahinch town and Fanore, 2 beautiful beaches, The Aran Islands, The Burren National Park and The cliffs or Moher. There is lots of great restaurants, exercise and yoga classes, local retreats, swimming pools and saunas, hiking and climbing, etc. There is also public transport available via bus to cities Limerick, Galway and Dublin.

If our family life interests you we would love to chat with you more. Please contact us and we can arrange a call.

    Kind regards,

    Jayne and Jake

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

If you are interested in living in Ireland and experiencing our culture then Ennistymon is an amazing place to do it. It is a lively and bustling town, with mostly family owned and run businesses, a selection of restaurants and pubs that serve up an authentic Irish experience through locally sourced food and nightly Traditional Irish Music sessions. A Food and Craft Fair is also held in the town on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for exhibitions and music gigs at The Courthouse Gallery; a studio space for Visual Artists in Ennistymon, Alfie’s; a vintage clothing store that hosts nightly music gigs, and Pot Duggans; a cool creative restaurant that hosts traveling chefs and offers a variety of cuisines, with live traditional music nights and late night dancing!

We hope to offer you a warm experience of family life and what it’s like to parent young children. I have learnt so much on my journey as a parent already and look forward to sharing my experience with you whilst also learning more and growing together. I am also interested in learning about you and your life experiences growing up and how they differ to our lives. I have travelled a lot in my life and lived in South Korea for 7 years.
