  • Description

    Description

I live on a quiet community with 4 other homesites in the rainforest behind Byron Bay NSW. I am a performing artist, MC, and drummer. I need help in the gardens, and with some housecleaning/painting/oiling/maintenance etc. I am Queer, so totally queer-friendly! The beach is a 30-min drive, and a car is essential. Vegetarian food only in the house please, as I have a dramatic beef allergy

Well I'm Queer, so if you want a safe place to be yourself, this is it. I often go to Lismore, which is a fun town; I have rehearsals at home once a week so you will meet musician friends. There are regular gardening working bees on the property, so you can meet the other shareholders on the community. I also teach Pilates twice a week so you can do that at home.

  • Help

    Help

I need help with weeding specific areas with particular weeds; oiling decks and verandahs; mulching and fertilizing trees; housecleaning occasionally if I'm too busy. I will work with you sometimes, and also expect you to be self-directed and motivated. I can talk about anything: I'm 60 this year and have lived a fabulously interesting life so far! I'm a good cook too.

I have the cutest Roundhouse for you, away from the main house, with it's own circular rock walls, verandah, and basic kitchen. It is fully flyscreened so no mosquitos or flies. All bedding and towels provided, with your own outdoor bathroom back at the main house. We share a full kitchen, so no meat allowed sorry, except chicken or fish, as I am allergic to red meats :(

  • What else ...

    What else ...

A car is essential here I'm afraid, there is zero public transport. The local village of Federal has a small shop, Post Office, and great Japanese restaurant plus tennis courts. The National Park is a 10 min drive away for bushwalks, waterfall, and creek swimming; I'm a bushwalker so happy to take you on hikes. My home is a sanctuary: no drugs or excessive alcohol, and preferably no smoking (only outside of course).
