We love having international guests and are very patient and attentive when it comes to helping them in speaking and learning English. Albert is a carpenter and a great teacher for anyone wishing to improve their construction skills. We always include our helpers in any activities happening in the town as well as taking them around to visit the natural beauty of the area.

    Help

We will be focusing on the construction of our rustic cabin, but should that not be your cup of tea, we always need extra help with our garden and other odd-jobs.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have a few accommodation options. A camper trailer which sleeps 2/3, or our guest room in the main house which sleeps a couple. No matter where you decide to stay, everyone is always welcome in our main house to use all the facilities and to hang out! Albert is a great cook and all our Helpers are always well fed and watered, morning, noon, and night!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our property is a great peaceful place to potter and dig in during the summertime and enjoy the scenic views all around, while the winter holds its own treasure. Our home is heated by a roaring wood fire and is positively cozy and warm- perfect for sitting in silence and reading a good book, we have a good selection if you've forgotten yours at home!

Activities in this area include skiing at Apex hill (a 40 minute drive); hiking (the amazing Cathedral lakes are a short drive away to base camp); wine tours; fruit picking; and swimming in the pristine Similkameen river.
