  • Description

My name is Antonio and I am 40 years old. I am from Ecuador. I am an eco-tour operator, and I work in both Morona Santiago and Pastaza Provinces. This is in Ecuadorian Amazon Region. I speak English and also I speak Spanish. At the moment I am living in Puyo City. I only offer tours in which people could understand the benefits of the conservation.

Before explaining about my Project I would like to talk about something that made me feel concerned about developing the following information out of my Project:
I am the third son of a family of seven children that was brought by my parents into “24 de Mayo” which became “Huamboya” after a mission of settlement that consisted on providing lands to the explorers that the Government had selected for the foundation of a series of villages inhabited by producers of cattle (livestock). This mission had been set up through CREA, a Governmental Bureau that had been founded for working on changing the bad economy of Austral Highlands and which now is the Province of Morona Santiago through exploring the Amazonian Region of Ecuador in the 50´s. The place where now is Huamboya was a place comprising up with exuberant forests with wildlife and Bio-diversity which now has disappeared because of the big Cattle Farms that were made since the time I am mentioning.
The site which was jungle at the moment of our arrival is now in the centre of a Town that is growing without control and consciousness about ecology. So I decided to conserve the natural landscaping and to orni-reforest with the purpose of Preserve Amazonian Bird Species that are in big danger of extintion as I could refer that in my whole Province of 22.820 square kilometers of surface there is a report of only a pair of Militaris Macaws which the Municipality of Limón Indanza is announcing.
This is a big alarm. That is why we need to announce along and around Ecuadorian Amazon the orni-urbanization so we could feed the birds of wild just at our gardens. My backyard is providing a register 222 bird species that are living and feeding here. Just in which less from a hectare.
Now as every Project goes through elemental things to pay attention I have registered in this media thanks to help of a girl that was workawaying in Amazonian of Ecuador and met and helped me doing what was necessary for having this Profile and contact people that would like to protect my Bird-friendly Backyard. However; I have gotten good and bad behaved travellers that are not very conscious, so I am typing this for telling the truth. Please do not consider the feedbacks as a reference for coming. I know that there are honest people in this media that I want to meet and together I would like to do eco-work for the preservation of Birds. I have done big work with a lot of people who expressed on words in our comments book of the Station.
I think I texted very clear message for those travellers that would like to live an eco-experience in a site where it is nice to stay.
I am open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. I am looking for those travellers that would like to exchance some things related to my investigations and work for good stay and feeding.
Expecting to be supported, I express my sincere feelings of gratitute and friendship.

I can welcome people without a prior message.
