    Description

We are currently looking for someone for a short stay while we are away for a few days, ideally from the 29th of January to the 10th of February 2025.

As a couple, we are two passionate individuals who share a love for filmmaking and traveling. We have both chosen the freelancing lifestyle as it allows us to have that flexibility. However, this often means that we end up spending long hours or weeks away from our two beloved old dogs.

Our furry babies' well-being is very important to us and we are therefore seeking the help of someone who shares our love for animals and is willing to provide them with the attention and care they deserve. Our dogs are amiable and love spending time with people. They are a vital part of our family, and we cannot imagine our lives without them.

We believe that Work Away is an excellent platform to find like-minded individuals who share our passion for travel and adventure. We are excited about the prospect of hosting someone willing to lend a helping hand as they enjoy this part of their journey, whilst we ourselves explore new destinations or work opportunities.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and has experience caring for pets. They should be comfortable with taking the dogs for walks, feeding them, petting them, giving them medication, being close to them, and overall ensuring that they are comfortable and happy in our absence. Our dogs are elderly and so they need that extra awareness and love!

In return, we will provide comfortable accommodation in the beautiful Englefield Green, which whilst located near larger urban areas like Richmond or Staines, it retains its rural charm and distinct village character with its historic buildings green spaces and community feel. Surrounded by the stunning forests and lakes of Great Windsor Park, with Thames Riverside walks, next to the picturesque town of Windsor with its touristic shopping centre and cultural life, the buzzing little student town of Egham with cafés and food places as well as an Everyman cinema, there is plenty to keep you busy but also the perfect chance to relax and take in the calmer side of life this area provides.

We look forward to meeting new people and forming lasting friendships through this experience. If you share our love for nature, a calmer pace in life and of course animals, we would love to hear from you and welcome you into our home!
