    Description

Plants can survive without humans, but humans cannot survive without plants.

We are based on the edge of the Soysambu Conservancy on a plot surrounding Lake Elementita. Here; we really care about the environment, we work closely with our partners to protect indigenous trees by running an organic tree nursery and seed center while promoting and educating people on how to live sustainably.

We work together to try and make our world a better place. We have a team of 12 who have been with us for over 20 years, working woth the forest, ranging from scientisits to general maintenance, they would all love to meet you and teach you about different cultures and hopefully learn from you too.

There are so many projects to get stuck into, and there is so much for you to learn while you are with us:
    • setting up a butterfly farm
    • helping us build a campsite
    • compost making
    • building cob houses using all natural building techniques
    • caring for our 160 camels that live with us
    • brick making
    • verma culture
    • agroforestry
    • bee keeping

We would love you to pick a few projects that you really feel would be of interest to you, and come join us and get stuck in! When you aren’t helping us build there is tons to explore and see. We are 5 mins from the main road, where you can go to visit the lake, explore the local towns and get to experience Kenya for yourself.
This really is an opportunity to make an impact. Be apart of this great initiative to grow our forest, and protect our future.
