  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  You will become the part of our international community of young traveler and entrepreneurs here in El Valle. You will live in direct contact with the nature in a paradisiacal jungle town. You will discover with us all the hidden treasures of Samana, the virgin beaches, waterfalls, cacao farms, and you will also experience firsthand the core of the Dominican culture. The vibrant Dominican rhythms, their love for dance, food and music, You will live only 7 min walk from the beach in a place where we have summer all year long.

  Help

  *We need help with the management of social media sites, creating content, respond to chats, messages, and emails.
  
  *It’s important that our future volunteer has a great understating of marketing, is attentive and customer oriented. Important to have great social skills, to help with clients visiting our paradise. Also be outgoing, kind, and enthusiastic.
  
  *We need help during the Retreats and the events held in El Valle, therefore the person must have great organization skills, and have an eager personality to help to conduct a successful event.
  
  *Important that our future volunteer, must love nature, topical weather, sun, and animals. We have a sweet dog at the house, and time to time we would love to ask you to take her for a walk or pick up food for her.
  
  *VERY IMPORTANT: please only apply if you speak both English & Spanish.
  
  IT is a huge plus if you have knowledge about website management, email marketing, photography & videography. (its not an essential requirement but a huge plus)
  
  Help requested: 5 hours a day, 5 days a week (2 days off)

  Private room with private bathroom
  
  The volunteer will be hosted in an apartment with a shared fully equipped kitchen. The volunteer will have its own private room and bathroom, but the kitchen is shared between 3 persons. We as a host will provide all the ingredients the volunteer needs to cook his/her food. We do the shopping all together every week so the volunteer can tell us if she/he has any specific dietary request. Alcoholic beverages are not included. Several time during the week, we cook all together and we share the meals as it’s a beautiful way to get to know each other and share our passion and love for food.

  What else ...

  In your time off you can discover the virgin beaches of Samana, the waterfalls, you can hike in the jungle, rent a quad and explore the whole penninsula. Go to Las Terrenas and enjoy the vibrant nightlife and great gastronomy.
