  We're a family of three, two of which live in the house permanently.
  We live in a wonderful place in the southeastern Sardinian coast. We have some sheep and hens. We invent everything with the recycle. Lovers of uncontaminated nature, we like the idea of sharing our little world with others. We prepare homemade pasta, pies, bread and a lot more. Come experience a simple and laid back life (:

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We can exchange with you our knowledge on permaculture and work in the countryside. You'll experience the simple countryside life that includes producing your own food and how to grow it. We're 16 km away from the nearest village so it's a quiet place to stay in. We'd like to experience some cultural exchanges, sharing ideas and projects to improve our own lives keeping it sustainable and environmental friendly.

  At the time being we'll need help with:
  1) the cleansing of the woods nearby;
  2) general maintenance;
  3) preparation of our garden for summer;
  4) house cleaning
  5) preparation of Lentisk oil

  Accommodation

  Small independent house with bathroom, kitchen (and a fireplace, depending on the availability).
  In some periods it could happen that you'll share your place with another volunteer but it is rare.
  
  We have two small independent houses you can choose from (if one is not already taken). Only one of them has a fireplace. None have a heating system. Both have warm water. Both have an en suite private bathroom. Kitchen is a common area in a room detached from both houses.
  
  We'd like to share a meal (lunch) with you, while for dinner and breakfast you can cook and eat in your place. We are guaranteeing food for every meal but it's better to get something for yourself if you need some very specific things. Two of us are omni, one is vegan, so we can cook vegan or vegetarian friendly, that's not a problem.
  
  +Please keep in mind that the little we produce is all we eat, be respectful of the garden. Production is scarce since the climate doesn't allow for much growth +

  What else ...

  +++Two of us speak only Italian, so please contact us only if your level is good enough to hold some basic conversations.
  
  We live 16km away from the closest villages and public transport is NOT an option to move around freely once here, since there's no stops closeby. We'll drive you here if you're able to reach one of the following towns: Villaputzu, San Vito, Muravera or Tertenia.
  You'll have a bike at your disposal during your stay.
  We are 5 km from the closest beach but keep in mind that is a military area and one cannot enter it freely throughout the whole year. It is open during summer months. The next closest beach is 17km from here.
  
  We don't accept dogs, since our cats are afraid of them and our garden set up doesn't allow them to roam freely without interacting with it. If you're travelling with cats and you want to give them outside time, keep in mind there is a road closeby + wilderness and shepherd dogs which could attack em.
  
  The accomodation given is to be left as clean as one got it, which is just basic care, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't leave a mess behind.
  
  We do NOT have WiFi and data connection isn't stable everywhere+++
