We are involved in boats maintenance & reparation (principally sailing boats) in a marina near Puerto Lindo (Beautiful nature and animals / departure place for the San Blas Island and Cartagena) and another one at the enter of the Panama canal (good place for networking with people crossing oceans).
Currently, we have different projects going on and one is to refit one of our boat in order to go sailing during our free time.

Linton Bay Marina and Shelter Bay Marina is the perfect place for people who enjoy staying in contact with nature and with the sea, in peace and quiet.
You can learn a lot about sailing & maintenance and meet sailors from all over the world and listen to all of their stories and adventure.
In Puerto Lindo, their is a Pady diving school so if you would like to get any license that could be a good combination!
Currently we are looking for someone or a couple living on board of our 30 meters maxi ketch "La Poste". It is situated near Puertobello, a small village on the coast which is the point of arrival of the boats doing the Cartagena - Panama routes. The boat is also situated a few hours from San Blas which is a beautiful archipelago.
La Poste was originally built for the whitbread (volvo ocean race now), was designed by Bruce Fahrr and had Eric Tabarly as captain. It is a racing boat and we think it is a good opportunity for someone to understand more about this world of professional sailing.
We are looking for someone staying at least a few weeks. You will supervise the daily life on the boat (cooking, provisioning, bit of cleaning,...). We share the daily task but it is important to have someone that supervise all this! That experience will give you the opportunity to understand a real important part of sailing which is too often left behind and then cause problem during ocean crossing. It won't take you that much time and you will also have the opportunity to learn a lot about sailing boats maintenance and reparation if you would like,
During your free days, we an either stay here and enjoy the nature (the sea, fishing, scubadiving with a padi school), go to San Blas, or visit the city of Colon or Panama.
