    Description

Hello! We are an eco-lodge and hostel located in the small town of El Limón in the province of Samana, 7 minutes away from the beautiful 'Salto el Limón' waterfalls and the deserted beach of el limón. We are a 15 minutes ride from the kite surfing town of Las terrenas where you can find bars, restaurants, beautiful beaches, scuba diving and more.

We believe in living an organic natural life and co-existing within nature. We collect water from the sky, energy from the sun, and we recycle anything we can use. Our buildings are made from cob clay, bamboo, wood and recyclables. Our hopes and dreams are to inspire people that come to stay with us to live a little differently and educate them on permaculture and organic living.

We have been building for a year and a half and we are now currently open for customers. Our hostel offers 3 private huts with double beds, a big spacious 10-bed dormitory, 4 colourful glamping tents, and shared bamboo toilets with open-air showers.

    Future Project 😊:
The trash and waste issue is a big problem in the Dominican Republic,
I want to start a program called trash hero; where me, the volunteers and customers and local kids get involved with cleaning the trash from all the beaches every Sunday. After the clean up I want to bring the kids back to the farm for lunch and show them what we have made from recycled materials like pallet furniture etc and teach them a bit about how we made the houses from wood and stone. Everything comes straight from the land.

We are looking for creative people, artist, photographers, carpenters people who are good at arts n crafts, yoga instructors and of course good cooks are welcome. Creative artistic people are really what we need more than anything here at the lodge!!
