Description
We are a tri-positioned community and retreat center with rawtopia and Eden located at the heart of San Marcos La Laguna in the sacred Lake Atitlan with our community cabins and healing center (still under development) right at the pier of the town at 1500m elevation..are sister location is a 400 acre permaculture farm near Chicacao roughly 12km down the hill from the lake with natural springs volcanic soil, and mature fruit trees in the highland (750~1100m altitude) of Guatemala just below the Lake with a tropical climate ideal for avocado, banana, cacao, mango, coconuts, coffee, mamey sapote, papaya, and much more. The farm has many mature fruit trees and is over 100 years old. We are at the very beginning stage of rejuvenating the farm, with similar projects and eco-villages already underway in Ecuador at terrafrutis.com. Our plan is to build a permaculture, non-hierarchically, and consensus community that is self sovereign. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join and share a healthy alternative lifestyle.
A secondary, though equally important project, is to convert the existing space at the Lake to a RAWTOPIAN plant-based cultured Super Food Healing Retreat sourced with organic fruits and veggies from our hydroponic rotating vertical food towers and living walls of food (still under development). To further that end, any individuals talented in food recipe design and implementation of raw plant-based or ayurvedic menus definitely welcome!! We plan to raise awareness also through diet and teach proper food prep as my mentor Lou Corona taught me over 13 years ago when I made my first cultured almond yogurt and lemon ginger blast curing me of all arthritis and candida in less than 3 weeks! (Lou is now 72 and still looks 30 years younger!-find him on YouTube! And myself Jay Kaiser with my top 10 health tips on fruit-powered)
No smokers please or alcohol on site and the work entails 5 days a week though flexible hours in exchange for accommodation though food not provided as everyone has their own preferences and there exist many inexpensive options with the plentiful fruit and veggie stands a minute away though I always like to share my raw cultured delights whenever possible!Types of help and learning opportunities

We are looking for like-minded and committed individuals to join us, to learn about vegetarian and plant-based foods, to learn about permaculture farming techniques, to absorb alternative healthy lifestyle and experience community based living with self-conscious and self-sovereignty mindsets.

We never had the choice to stay at there place around the lake, they only gave us the option to go in the Jungle, 30 min away from Chicacao, far from everything. So the pictures are not really accurate.
The location is magical, in the middle… read more
