    Description

We welcome you to come and join us on a sustainable vegan permaculture project. We have already had some amazing volunteers and created some amazing memories.

Leisure time: We have many beaches local to here. There are also a number of fresh water lakes that are great for swimming. One of our neighbours has a volley ball court where we often get together with the other volunteers on the land. Occasionally we have music and dancing in our small ruin.

We prepare food together to save resources. If you have any great ideas or recipes then we are open to any improvements you can bring. All meals are vegan with the emphasis on delicious nutritious food. This means a good mix of carbs, protein, fresh veg, salad, seeds, nuts, beans and pulses. You are welcome to cook for the team.

In June 2020 a huge forest fire swept through West Algarve and devastated our land. We have been working hard to prepare for the mild winter with the emphasis on getting ready for the rains. We have so many eco projects to deal with it is hard to concentrate on one alone. We are experiencing beautiful weather at the moment but when it rains, it really rains hard. We are doing work to make sure the land holds the water rather than running off and getting to the sea.

We look forward to welcoming you and thank you for considering to join us in this amazing project.
