    Description

DATES : you can start any time between July 14th and Aug 14th you can stay minimum 5 days and maximum 1 month

REFERENCES: We can give you references from our former Au Pairs who lived with us for 1 year.

We are grandparents nearly 70 years old. We have a large house on the seaside near Stockholm ( 80 min by bus) and need someone to help us with cooking and cleaning when the grandchildren come to visit. We are kind , respectful, inclusive , multi-cultural and fun.
The picturesque village is called Dalaro and has public transport to Stockholm. It is quiet with a lovely bakery and a few restaurants but mostly summer houses and boats.
Your work hours will be reasonable , respectful and by mutual agreement.
The classic house is renovated and in very good condition with a lovely view. You will have your own room and bathroom.
We have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren but not everyone comes at the same time.
My hobbies are baking sourdough bread , walking, and the family likes to try to relax, go to the beach or the islands nearby.
We eat dinner together as a family nearly every day , usually with home-cooked meals. You are always welcome to eat with us unless you prefer sometimes to be on your own, that is also fine.

Please feel free to ask any questions and I will be happy to answer. We have references from previous Au Pairs .

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We love learning about different countries and traditions. We are able to support learning and practicing languages. If you wish to learn English or Swedish, we will be very happy to help you and explain phrases and teach you new ways of saying something if you don't know. It is always interesting to meet people from different cultures, no matter which country they come from and we can exchange and share thoughts and ideas.
Last year we had a young lady from Ukraine living with us and a girl from Lappland wo loved being near Stockholm and the seaside , She came back 2 times to help us with the grandchildren and it was a lovely exchange. We hope that you will also feel at home with our family,
