We are in the MACKAY REGION.
Our land covers over 72 acres bordered on two sides by Eungella national park, where you can find the longest continuous stretch of rainforest in Queensland. On the premises we operate our own permaculture farm; growing mangoes, lychees, and other tropical fruits. We live a sustainable lifestyle in harmony with nature — generating our own energy from hydro and solar, and living in an energy efficient, earth-sheltered home of our own design.
We run an ecotourism business from home: a flying fox through the canopy of the rainforest.
We have plenty of projects on the go - our ecotourism business Forest Flying, pruning, maintenance ....
We prefer it if you can stay for at least a week as there is so much to show you. It is easier for us if you have your own transport as we are one hour west of Mackay, North Queensland but we can usually pick up from Mackay by arrangement on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
