    Description

    We have a vineyard /farm on a small island in the Dodecanese Called Lipsi Island ,We are a organic farm, the farm vineyard has been in the family for over 200 hundred years, we produce a wide range of organic products, the farm is located just a 100 meters from the sea, the family and students live at the farm most of the spring/ summer and fall / there is also a separate Eco home that volunteers will be staying at ,it has a a wood burning stove a outside dry toilet and solar power.
    We would like for the person to help cook and have some cooking experience with farm to table food and help manage the day to day operations.

    We are looking for respectful people that have a positive attitude.

    Position 1)

    Looking for experienced people that can cook for the entire staff of 4 to 10 people on a daily basis lunch and dinner, also from May to September sell products from our farm store to customers that come to visit us .

    The type of help would be Cooking, Cleaning, Day to Day operations, Gardening, Planting, Harvesting Fruits and Vegetables, Wine Making, Pruning, some Building and Maintenance, Watering and Feeding the Goats, Sheep ,Donkey, Olive Harvest and Olive Oil Production.

    This is a paid position.

    You would get paid hourly for the hour's you work at Greek minimum wage.

    Included would be your room, either at the main farm or the little farm, which is 100 meters away

    You will need to pay a daily minimum fee for all your meals.

    10 euros per day.



    We also require a working visa, European Member Countries
    are already legally allowed to work in Greece .


    Position 2)
    The other position would be just straight volunteering.

    You would only cook for yourself.

    Only do work on the organic farm and vineyard.

    Hours are 4 hours per day 5 days per week.

    Food is included.

    This is not a paid position.

    Also harvesting privileges, all fruits and vegetables are free for workawayeers that we grow at our farm, including goats milk, cheese , teas , herbs and spices , olive oil. Availability is seasonal.

    We will not be able to have children or pets stay at the farm,we will also need the person make sure that they have travel insurance, and be a EU member. We will be doing a lot of tradtional greek organic farming from making wine, olive oil and much much more.
