Description
Hey there !
We are Raphael and Morgane, bestfriends who are realizing heir dreams in Mexico 🌞
We arrived 5 years ago in Buenavista, and have the vision to open a guesthouse that suits the vision we have of life ! Through many years traveling, we have been to differents hostel and now it's our turn to host people !
Two years ago, we organized a workshop about how to build an earth bag Dome, and we finished the construction last year.
With the grateful help of others work away, we could even do a terrace and mosquitos free zone area ! 😎🙏
However, I ( Morgane ) got pregnant last year and just welcome a newborn. We couldn't be in Mexico for a long time, and sadly even if we kept it maintien through some rentals, the Dome need a VERY GOOD freshen up 😁
We have also having some friends around to help us. So we speak English, french, Spanish and Dutch together !Types of help and learning opportunities

During your stay you can learn about earthbag dome construction, as the architect of the project will be here, and you can ask as many questions as you want !
You will even grow some skills to work with wood and metal ! As we do mainly everything ourselves 😊 ( I knew nothing of ti and learned during the process with help of professionals)
But also learn planting and gardening ( did you know the Mayan cut theirs trees depending of the Moon ? )
Their are a lot of medicinal plants around and Raph is passionate about them.
If you know about plants and trees we also love to receive you experience ☺️
We use to work 5 days a week and take two days off. We will eat also together delicious lunch 🙂 if you are vegetarian you are also welcome, we mainly cook like that.Help
At this moment we need help with the Dome : painting it in a new color ( terra cotta ) breaking a bit the Dome to built some aeration conduct, wood/metal jobs .. !
Also planning and building a rooftop on the top of the studio ! 😁 With an amazing view of the jungle, birds and sometimes monkeys 🐒🦜
But we have also some gardening ( planting trees, flowers..) fencing, painting..
We welcome everyone who want to join our little team to make it even more beautiful, and give a bit of your soul forever here 🌿
If you like painting/ drawing, we have some walls you can have fun with 👌
A basic day would be :
Waking up on a fresh hours, enjoy a healthy breakfast on the terrace, some yoga and get ready to work on the land.
We take a break a bit before noon as it gets hot during this time of the year, we have lunch, rest, we go swim to the Laguna or chill in an hammock, read a book.. !
In the afternoon, we go back to the land and finish the day with an apéro and sunset on the rooftop 😁
All of that with some good vibes and music ! 🎵Languages
