Description
Hello there, reader and traveler. I'm Pedro. My project is going through a revival right now, and our current goals are mainly to have a good time and find out the direction to go in the future. One thing I can assure you: we will have a great time outdoors!
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️I kindly ask you to do a little research before sending a request. Campo Grande is off the touristy route, and is not in everyone's plan to come around here. If you're coming from São Paulo/Rio/Brasília, a direct flight (less than 2 hours) for under 90$ is your best bet. Buses are around the same price, but will take around 14 hours.
Olá, leitor e viajante. Sou Pedro. Types of help and learning opportunities

This project is about people! You will be very welcome and see yourself fit in as an appreciated, well-functioning member of a small community and team
You'll get to know a common brazilian Mid-western life. It's cheap, slow and pleasant. We will explore wild places. And last but not least, there will be the opportunity to meet the incredibly wise, handsome and humble person that I am.
-----
Você conhecerá a vida no Centro-Oeste . Help
You need to be able-bodied: farmwork can sometimes be quite intense and demanding. But beginners are more than welcome. Mistakes make for good laughs! I surely know, since I've made plenty so far
You will work 24 hours a week MAX. You can do as you will with your free time!
As for food : we have meat, cheese, eggs and chicken (can you pluck one?), mandioca, veggies, berries, plantains, corn, squash. We can cook together sometimes, but I only eat at night. My soups are 10/10. If you're craving something specific from the market, we can go there (so you can buy it with your monies$$). Your spendings will probably be very low during the stay.
----
Languages

There's a small house about 100m away for the volunteers. We usually spend most of the time around the bigger house though, since there's internet and a pool there. You can use the kitchen and laundry, of course.
Campo Grande is a "rural capital" of 900,000 inhabitants. You'll be able to get to know brazilian Mid-Western culture. Food is great! Not much touristy stuff to do there, but we can go to nearby sweet rivers in towns like Bonito, Bodoquena, Jardim, Rio Verde...
There are also parks and local markets, to which I'll be happy to take you for a walk

Great knowing you, Jaa. Wish all the best!
I spent three days between his old apartment, new apartment (which I helped him move into) and his lovely farm where I had a great time working; planting pineapple/ banana trees and making cheese.
Away from work Pedro is full of stimulating conversation, he is great to hang out with. He also spent some time to teach me the… read more
