Description
We are a group of active artists who built a beautiful and thriving place in the middle of nowhere to do art and music, as well as events , such as an art academy, smaller music festivals, composers residencies, a spanish writers circle, jewish salons and more. During the season from May to September we always need help to maintain the spaces, build new areas, plant trees, make the garden pretty and take care of the tomatoes and other vegetables ;)
Helpers will learn from the hosts Alex and Constanza, who are active in art and music and willing to share their experiences in each field. a piano is available and can be used in free time . we can spend evenings together and enjoy the nature and nearby lakes while during the daytime, helpers can learn how we made a dream come true to have rebuilt these houses and participate in making the space even more nice. we guarantee that Workawayers will not have to do services for other guests, who come here for workshops or residencies.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Travellers will gain hands-on experience, learning the process of building a house from the ground up in a remote location with limited resources. We foster a work environment based on tolerance, respect, and enjoyment, offering participants the opportunity to not only develop practical skills but also deepen their understanding of the land and its unique features.
Help
Guests will assist in maintaining and organising rooms in the property in preparation for the summer season. Responsibilities will include organizing and cleaning the summer kitchen and surrounding areas, as well as caring for the garden. Additionally, assistance will be needed in organizing and maintaining two rooms in the old house, including washing and painting the walls of the staircase. Gardening tasks will also be part of the duties.

Accommodation
The house has 2 floors, the guests will have their own private rooms between the first and ground floor, there are two bathrooms between the ground floor and the first floor. There is a kitchen in the ground floor and exterior kitchen, which we call "the summer kitchen". There are a few common spaces outdoors and indoors.
Alex and Constanza, the hosts, will make homemade food. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available. If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance. Non-alcoholic drinks are included. Alcoholic drinks can be paid for a reasonable price, or you can personally bring yours.
What else ...
During their free time, guests can enjoy endless walks through the vibrant rapeseed flower fields, a beautiful local landmark. Two lakes are located nearby, just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute bike ride away. We provide two bikes for guests to use, and we are also happy to drive them to the lakes for a more convenient visit.
Important to note is that there are no shops around, but to organise a trip to the shop or supermarket is possible. As well there are a few instruments including piano and guitar that can be freely used.
