Description
We are a hostel located in the heart of the city, downtown Arequipa Peru. Family owned clothing store & now growing into the Hospitality business & looking to exceed your standards. All we ask for is a few hours at the reception desk. Easy & relaxing volunteer opportunity. We are renovating the Hotel & any improvements or creative art suggestions would be appreciated. We would like to help you enjoy your vacation & provide free lodging in a shared room with breakfast, plus access to the rooftop & kitchen.

Travellers will benefit from a cultural exchange because we are fully bilingual in English & Spanish. We were born in USA but part of our family is from Peru & we have lived in both countries for many years. We will help you feel at home & guide you through the city. You can learn about our Spanish language & the Inka culture. So much history & stories from our ancestors. Visit museums & see all that the historical center of Arequipa has to offer, from fine dining restaurants to an energitic night life.

Accommodation
We would like to offer one of our shared volunteer rooms in the Hostel. We are open to discussing a discount on any private suites & rooms as well. A continental breakfast is always provided free of charge. However, Lunch & Dinner will not be provided but it is very affordable, we can give you recomendations nearby. We have many neighboring restaurants on the same street that can even provide delivery.
What else ...
Very easy going & calm area. Mercaderes street (1/2 a block away) is an entertaining street to walk along as it will take you straight to the Main Square. It is only for pedestrians & is full of people but also very safe. Your time in Arequipa will be full of great food, fun, & entertainment.

We have the best Fiber Optic Internet & WiFi signal in downtown Arequipa, Peru. We do have a computer to lend if it is needed. Quiet TV/Lounge Room to focus & work in silence.

Service Dogs & Emotional Support Animals are accepted for a 1-2 day stay. Please have a kennel & the pet under control.
