15 km from Rishikesh, yoga capital of India, hidden at the footsteps of the Himalayas, we are situated in a very small village near the very famous Shiva temple 'Neelkanth'.
A few years ago, in a meeting with the local community, we agreed to start our eco-inspired project. Our place is an eco retreat center for yoga, meditation, body work and silence retreats. Also offering many more creative projects such as painting and writing workshops.
The work here is still in progress. It is a sustainable, long process which requires a lot of dedication and craftsmanship. Local experienced workers and volunteers help us to build and create the accommodations for our guests. The working process is slow due to the fact that there is no access to vehicles. All building materials have to be carried by horses and reach here after a long walk, making every working act highly precious.

Volunteers will get to experience the traditional indian village life at its purest form.
With the help of karma yoga (working meditation) they will get to get to know the silence within.
During the retreats they will get a chance to be a part of many different activities, such as yoga and meditation groups and ayurvedic massage trainings and they will get to learn many techniques which they will carry with them on their path.
Besides this, we offer our volunteers food and accommodation at our eco-village.
We are looking forward to host volunteers to help us to build more eco-friendly mud houses, zen gardens and a natural pool. There is a natural water stream and a waterfall next to the property. We need people who are ready to jump in and build a beautiful sitting area around the water stream.
During the retreats we need volunteers to help in the kitchen and maintain the lounge- and eating areas, and help us in the garden. At the times when there are no retreats, we also need someone to manage the property maintenance and receive our guests at the guesthouse.

The city Rishikesh is only 15 km away from our eco-village. The city, also known as the yoga capital of India, is situated at the bank of the river Ganges, and has many world famous ashrams, yoga schools and temples. Reaching there from our property is also an amazing journey. Local cabs depart from a point nearby the village on a daily basis.
Our eco-village is also an excellent starting point for any type of hiking and trekking trips so in their free time our volunteers can use this opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings.
