    Description

    Hey I am Leïna a French-moroccan woman.
I live in a village between Agadir and Taghazout called Aourir. The région is known for the ocean, sun, surf, the mountains and its authenticity.

As mass tourism is smashing the region, I want to offer a safe heaven for nature and people who want to travel differently.

I am currently looking for help on a 1200m2 farm and I need people who have experience with -permaculture - eco building.
    1) I had my house made of mod and clay and it didn't resist the first rain that collected 1/4 of the annual rain in only one night on November 2025.
I need people to help me find what to do either by fixing this building or starting from scratch elsewhere in the farm avoiding the same mistakes.
I need to sleep there safely in order to be able to continue the project

    2) Irrigation
I am currently speaking with the neighbors to get the underground water as we have a lot of underneath water in this area. It is salty though. So we'll have to take it into account when growing stuff.

I need to design the water system to use it wisely, being for my needs, for those who will come in workaway, for the animals and for the garden.

    3) Planting
I want to grow organic vegetables, am have a small production for me and maybe some people around.
In the area, grow papaya, banana and some vegetables

    4) I want organize the farm to make equine therapy with my horse, have a camping area, a place for my breathwork, a place for art workshops.

I live there alone, I have volunteers coming to help every Thursdays and the magic is that it's the only place around where Moroccans and foreigners meet on equal ground.

A local guy, Boujmaa who find purpose in the space comes everyday to help with everything. He is payed for that, doesn't live on the land and loves being in touch with people.

When we need specific knowledge, we hire someone for a few days. But that has been really disappointing to see that a lot of the know how has been lost in this region.

It's my first time doing workaway and I m going throught the website because I need people who have knowledge on building and farming ecologically. Paradoxically now people from Europe are more in tune with it. Now (end of January 2026) we are working for 2 weeks with a professional from Marrakech on natural building to finish my house and the volunteer's.

I don't have knowledge about construction, landscape design etc that's why I have been struggling for the last 5months to make something there.
There is a community of a few people interested to be part of it but there is a need for impulsion and vision. I would love to collaborate with Workaway volunteers to help because it is a lot.

My area is in front of the beach in a small village that is very welcoming and is 10km away from Agadir and 10km from Taghazout, right in the middle. You will feel the Amazigh (Europeans say Berbe) vibe and feel how special it is!
30 km away you have beautiful sand dunes of Timlaline and the beautiful hills of Paradise Valley.
    This region is Amazing!

I love being around people and I m full of energy and share a lot of creative community moments
But I also really need my alone time and silence, it's my way of recharging. So it's important for me that the person who comes to workaway at my place is independent, communicates clearly her/his needs and expectations and find ways to create harmony.

It is also important for me to have a certain energy there so In the garden no smoke or alcohol allowed

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

My area is a place of yoga, surf, skate, music. Every week there are cheap or free activities around involving movement, chanting etc etc

I can share my breathwork sessions, some darija (but I don't like to teach so just a little ;)), and introducing you to my horse and spending time with her.

Also, Boujmaa who works on the farm with me is an Amazigh man who loves sharing time energy language with people, it will be a great way to get to know Moroccan culture with him :)

Everyday we feed the animals, eat together and focus on a specific task for the day : finishing the wheel, the pond, preparing the chicken house, preparing the nursery, plant seeds.
The place is a place where ancient indigenous seeds are being gathered and reproduced

    1) I had my house made of mod and clay and it didn't resist the first rain that collected 1/4 of the annual rain in only one night on November 2025.
We are finishing to repair it (January 2026)

    Accommodation

We are currently building it, the beldi original way of building house with mod and clay. It will be about creating it together!
We have a little kitchen and toilets, no shower yet but we can create it together.

During the first months, most people who participated as volunteers chose to rent a cheap accomodation nearby as in a shared room. And it had its advantages making it easier as the place is in total shaping.

Lately (January 2026) I had a volunteer who was camping on the place. Now (end of January) we are building the accomodation for volunteers. Hopefully it will be ready when you are here, pr you can help finish it :)

    For food
I am vegetarian and eat eggs but no dairy. I will provide fruits vegetables eggs bred for you. If you need something else let me know but I can't provide you meat or any junk food to stay in the same energy flow.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

It is important for me that we don't smoke and drink on the place.
It is also about creating a safe environment that I ask you to not come drunk or after heavily smoking if you decide to go out.
It is important to know that it is safer to be with someone if you want to walk around at night.

I looove playing music, improvising etc so if you are a musician, a chess play lover, nature, ocean, cyclist, we will get along and share a lot.
