Description
My name is Marco and I live alone in a house in the woods in Umbria, Italy. I'm 47 years old and I'm building a little oasis where nature, animals, peace and freedom reign supreme. Here I have a donkey, ducks, turkeys, chickens, a dog, and cats; they are my family.
I'm looking for help to continue this project of mine. The house has three floors and is equipped with all the comforts to entertain guests. In the spring and summer, the oasis also becomes a farm campsite.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Workawayers can help me carry out this project, enjoy the silence of the forest, and practice holistic activities (yoga, meditation, massage, etc.) in the simplicity and authenticity of living in isolation and in harmony with the place that hosts us.
There are many nice places nearby to visit, and I would love to learn new languages and cultural habits of other countries as a personal growth.
Help
You’ll be helping with a variety of activities depending on the season and your interests/skills, from gardening, planting, painting, cleaning, and animal care.
I usually ask for about 20 of help per week, with flexible schedules so you can enjoy your free time. There’s always time to relax, explore the area and simply enjoy the peace of the forest.

Accommodation
Workawayers will be hosted either in a private room or in a shared room with other volunteers, depending on availability and the number of guests.
Lunches are vegetarian, simple and nourishing, often prepared with local or homegrown ingredients. Breakfast and dinner can be organized together or managed independently, depending on the day.
What else ...
Life here follows the rhythm of nature, calm, simple and genuine. It’s an open-minded, clothing-optional place, where respect and freedom come first. You don’t need to be naturist, but you should feel comfortable in an environment where people live naturally, close to the earth and to themselves. If you love animals, simplicity and slow living, this place is for you.
