    Description

The project was born in 2018 and has some events on the theme of art-nature-culture organized in the small village of Roccaromana, in the Upper Caserta area. Roccaromana which is located about 70 km away from the metropolitan city of Naples, is our main point of reference for creating synergy and exchange between the city and inland rural areas.
In January 2022 the project took shape by setting up a Social Promotion Association. A Third Sector Entity, which aims to create widespread wealth, promote the circulation of people and ideas, host and be a promoter of cultural experiences in order to counter the phenomenon of depopulation of villages and inland areas and to reduce the gap between cities - suburbs.
We deal with the organization, management and production of cultural, educational and artistic-theatrical events and activities; reception, exchange and intercultural twinning; organization of tourist activities of social and/or cultural interest.
We have undertaken a fruitful collaboration with various Associations and with the Municipal Administrations both in the province of Caserta and in Naples.
Mobility for cultural professionals and other mobility of young people promoted by the Erasmus+ program on urban regeneration issues were also hosted at our facility.
The association also deals with activities to raise awareness and promote slow and sustainable tourism. In particular, it supports the development of the Southern Via Francigena, hosting pilgrims on their way on the Teano-Statigliano and Statigliano-Alife stages.
Together with the theater company, Contextuale Teatro, the association produced the theatrical show 'Cassandra or the failed revolution', on the history of the No Global movement in Italy, also collaborating with other Italian cultural realities.

    VISION

Recovering an area abandoned to neglect, creating widespread wealth, promoting the circulation of people and ideas, hosting and being promoters of different types of cultural experiences.

Attempting to contrast and force the vicious circle according to which the absence of activities and services encourages the exodus and the economic and demographic deterioration of the territory.

Narrow the gap between cities and suburbs. Create a bridge between inland rural areas and metropolitan cities.

    Our project is ambitious.

But above all it is a long-term project, to be implemented step by step in collaboration with those who, like us, believe in sustainable development and invest in the socio-cultural sector.

    What else ...

If you will come by plane you can land at the
Capodichino airport, which is the closest airport
and the easiest way to reach Roccaromana.
Then, from the airport you should catch the
shuttle bus (the name of the line is Alibus) to
the main railway station (Napoli Centrale) and
from there you can catch the train to "Riardo -
Pietramelara" station. At that station there
will be one of our staff to pick you up.

You can also choose to land at the airports in
Roma (Fiumicino or Ciampino). From the
airport you can catch the Leonardo train to the
central railway station (Roma Termini) and
    then you have 2 options:

    1. To catch the train from Roma Termini to
Napoli Centrale (the trip lasts around 3 hours
with normal line, 1.30h with the fast line) and
then from Napoli Centrale to "Riardo -
    Pietramelara";

    2. To catch the train from Roma Termini to
"Riardo - Pietramelara" station but you must
change the train at least once at the "Cassino"
station or "Vairano - Caianello" station.
