Description
Hi all! I am traveller on a stay period in Sicily.
I've been travelling all around Europe and been a workawayer myself in Ireland but since 2022, I have been back to my hometown. I work a full-time job in Sicily now, and inherited a beach house from my dad, it has lots of green areas that need some attention, little maintenance and lot of colors! He was the one with the green thumb - and I am afraid that what he created would go lost and I'd love to commemorate him by cherishing his favorite place.
Working full-time on site, I'd need some little help around the house, but also because I believe in the Workaway spirit - seeing new places and experiencing new cultures.

You'll live in Alcamo Marina, near the beach, close to great places as Castellammare del Golfo (11 minutes by car), Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro (30 minutes), Trapani (40 minutes), Egadi's Islands, San Vito Lo Capo (1hr), Palermo (1hr), ... Sicily has to offer a lot in terms of nature, food and great people! I can help with Italian and English also.

- gardening;
- building projects that my dad started few years ago;
- painting;
It would be ideal an enthusiastic person who'd love to discover the beauty and the adventures Sicily can give, as well as helping around with the house.

Accommodation
You'll have a room for yourself and shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. Since you'll help out with the maintenance of the house and garden, food will be shared.
What else ...
Alcamo Marina is close to different beautiful sights. Historical such as Erice, Natural such as Riserva naturale dello Zingaro, or the Egadi's Islands.
Unfortunately without car, you cannot move a lot in Sicily in general. I have a car for myself, but we can share/arrange how to deal with this. Since it is on a countryside, there are not many transports. The closest stop is Alcamo (6 minutes).
