Description
We are a family, including our three-year-old, who embarked on a journey back to our ancestral village a couple of years ago, driven by the dream of embracing an eco-friendly way of life. Nestled in a quaint village in Sikkim, India, we operate a homestay, striving to cultivate our own organic food and adhere to a sustainable and eco-conscious lifestyle. Our path leads us towards achieving zero-waste living, prompting us to continuously explore, experiment, and implement innovative ideas. Moreover, we have a deep desire to delve into the realm of natural building, and we remain enthusiastically open to the prospect of acquiring new knowledge and skills.

Help
We are in search of a music tutor for our three-and-a-half-year-old, as well as a volunteer who can assist us in the art of natural building and the design of an eco-friendly house, such as a cob house and an eco compost toilet. We aim to use locally available materials like mud, cow dung, bamboo, wood, eco bricks, and more for our projects. When we're not working on building projects, we welcome someone who can contribute to our farm, garden, and household tasks – a true partner in sharing responsibilities and supporting each other.
Upon joining us, you become an integral part of our family – a family that believes in sharing, caring, and looking after our environment, while respecting and assisting one another. We value responsible and mindful travelers, and those ready to embrace village life.
Crucially, we only invite eco-conscious individuals who don't smoke cigarettes and leave no trace of trash behind."Languages
