    Hello out there! 🌿
    I’m Meike, and I deeply enjoy the peace and silence of life "in the middle of nowhere" surrounded by nature :). As I realized i could need support on my campo, I’m looking for warmhearted, trustworthy people who would like to take on meaningful responsibilities and contribute to the care and energy of this special place.

    About the Place 🏠
    The house is a 25-minute drive from the beach, up in the mountains, surrounded by mango, avocado, and olive trees. It’s peaceful with stunning views and lots of silence. The property is 3,500 m² with terraces, a garden shower, and seating areas to just be. On cold days, we fetch firewood and enjoy the stove with tea. The village is visible but only accessible on foot via a 45-minute hike—definitely need a car to be flexible.My dream is to create a self-sufficient paradise here. When I arrived, everything was in ruins, but a lot has been done. Originally, I planned to create an "awareness farm," a home for rescued animals and a place for people to connect with nature and take courses.

    If you’re looking for a stay where you can get creative, connect with nature and yourself, and take on meaningful responsibilities, this might be the perfect fit!

    Who Lives in the House? 🐱🐱🐶👩
    Nala: She’s a special girl I took in from the streets. She’s a bit traumatized, so I can't take in children or other dogs right now. Nala needs time to warm up to new people, so experience with reactive dogs is best. Once she trusts you, she’ll love you forever (as long as you’re awesome 😉). And Katzi & Toni: Two playful cats who cause their usual mischief. 😄

    Feel free to reach out – I’d love to chat! 😊 I live vegan and prefer to keep the house that way 🥑. Mutual respect and empathy are very important to me. I’m also open to connecting with like-minded people in the area.

    I offer enjoying peace and quiet together, cook delicious vegan food, do yoga or have conversations about Buddhism, meditation, or "life, the universe, and everything (or nothing;))."

    I love interacting with different people and am open to cultural and linguistic exchange. I'm happy to give you tips for excursions or we can simply spend cosy evenings on the ‘sun terrace’ playing cards or going to the beach together. The area has a lot to offer, whether by car, foot or mountain bike. Even I am always surprised at what there is to discover. For example, the Buddhist centre nearby, the stupa to recharge batteries, the beach in Benajarafe is about 25 minutes drive-away and there are typical ‘white’ villages that you can visit. Malaga is about 45 minutes away by car, so definitely recommended for day trips,We can also visit the local food market together or you can also just walk for miles from the house and enjoy nature.

    -Garden & Household: Support with gardening, household tasks, or creative DIY projects like building an outdoor sink or continuing creating the mosaic path.
    -Creative&Agricultural Opportunities: The property has so much potential! If you have experience in permaculture, planting, woodwork, bricklaying or if you’d like to explore your creativity, there’s plenty of space for that. I’ve been dreaming of starting an herb garden for ages! 🌿
    -Olive Tree Care: Right now, some help with the olive trees would be very welcome. 🌳
    -Daily Life: Just Join the Routine and lend a hand with everyday tasks, including taking Nala for a walk, and supporting with household needs (I sometimes have a lot of online work).
    -Animal&House-Sitting: Help with caring for and feeding the cats & Nala and looking after the house if I need to be away, depending on our arrangement :)

    You have your own room (with the rising sun)! And you can also have a bathroom to yourself, there are two bathrooms, so no stress :) We share the kitchen and living room. Food shopping and cooking, gladly together and share (but i LOVE cooking:). Generally I really prefere to just talk about it and see how it suits us both best. If you want to work less and be more to yourself, I'm happy for us to share the food shopping, if you want to work more or have bigger projects coming up, I'm happy to do the shopping and cooking too. It really always depends on the time. I'm happy to share whatever is there.
