Description
I’m Patt. I have a large property in Prats de Mollo, a beautiful Catalan village in the French Pyrenees, fifteen minutes from the border with Spain. The property has eleven apartments available to let to tourists and 'curists' (people who come for treatments at La Preste a famous spa seven kilometers away).

I moved here from the UK in 2003. Whilst a lot of work has been done to renovate the property over the years there are always ongoing decoration and improvement tasks to be completed.
It is a great place to live, I feel very fortunate to have found it.

This is an opportunity for a single person or a couple who can give a commitment to being here for all or at least a sizeable part of my season. Minimum wage payment.
I need help with the everyday running and demands of the business. This will be varied. Changeover days in the apartments, usually Saturdays and Sundays will be a definite commitment, the rest of the work time has some flexibility.
This could include support in the garden, grass cutting, weeding, cleaning of outdoor furniture and painting. As and when it is required!

Accommodation
A self contained, self-catering studio apartment during the stay. The apartment opens onto a beautiful garden and includes a table and chairs for you to enjoy outside relaxing time. There are images of the apartment included in the photos section below.
What else ...
This is an opportunity to live in Prats-de-Mollo-La Preste an historic Catalan town where you will hear many languages spoken: French, Spanish and Catalan and more from the international visitors. This is a remarkable walking and birding region. Many of the walks start from Prats-de-Mollo. Two minutes away is the open air swimming pool complex which is open during July and August. Please ask for more information.

A speed test of the network returned the following results: Download 12Mbps and Upload 0.67Mbps. If the building gets full with guests that can of course slow down the connection. Very occasionally storms can affect the network. The phone signal is strong should you wish to connect via personal hotspot at any point.
