Description
We love hosting volunteers in particular people looking to learn new skills, maybe there is somebody out there who would like to come and join in with our family tasks for a while.
Our house is a whirlwind of kids, and animals.
We need somebody who can jump in and help. Life can be busy here but we enjoy having volunteers into our family team
As a family these are some of the daily activities here, help around the house, using tools, help feeding, help cleaning, spending time with animals and the family and help supporting in our everyday lives. If you have spent time helping with animals in the past this will be an advantage here. If you are open minded and like alternative methods and lifestyles and country living this may be the right place for you. We as a family work hard to keep our household ethos rustic country living alive as much as possible but we do enjoy mod cons! The animals here include dogs, a cat and some horses
We eat a varied diet including meat
We would hope that our volunteer can get a taste of family life in Ireland and that we can build relationships that can last into the future, as has been our experience in the past with people who have stayed with us.
This is our family home and we open it to strangers in the hope that we can all learn and share from one another
Please message us if you want to experience some country living.
We live close to Dunmore Co. Galway. Buses to and from Galway and Sligo pass through our village every day. This a rural place and the local village is 4km away, by foot, bike or car.
Please write 'Family' in the subject./response. This will let us know that you have read our profile and understand some of our lifestyle.

I had left things unsaid because I was very saddened by your sudden departure. A note on the kitchen table is not an appropriate way to leave. We are very open here to all walks of life and and having 2 Spanish here at the time was just the way it worked out. As for my partner being away, as you may understand that is a big adjustment for… read more
She even helped on the farm. very willing to take part in our normal crazy every day life.
It was unfortunate the due to her type of visa she couldn't say longer. We would have her back anytime
However she left abruptly to follow another experience, totally up to her.
I was sorry to lose her and left in the lurch.
