Description
We are located on the Mendihuaca Beach, right where the river meets the ocean, and where there are local fishermen, surf schools and restaurants with delicious Caribbean food, and also we're right next to Costeño Beach where there are great parties.
Small operation, 7 private bedrooms, located 10 minutes away from Tayrona Natural Park, is a place to connect with nature, ideal for resting, where you will enjoy a quiet environment, perfect for getting away from the routine. In your free time you can walk on the beach, learn surfing, go on hikes around the beautiful surroundings, or go kayaking on the Mendihuaca River.
We currently have two paid shifts for Cleaning and Maintenance. We're looking for 2 volunteers that can stay at least 1 month. One of them for reception duties and the other one for helping at our restaurant!

The volunteers will have the opportunity to know and learn the local culture since still most of the community is local, enjoy their food, local music, practice Spanish, help out with tours around the beautiful destinations around.

We want to have the opportunity to meet a person, social, friendly and collaborative, who is the connector of the experience between the guests and the culture of the region, working on tasks related to reception, booking platforms, social media.

1 Shared room (1 bunk bed total)
We provide the volunteer with a place with a private room and bathroom, breakfast or lunch are inlcuded, laundry srvice, and a kitchen where they can store their stuff and cook lunch and dinner.

Mendihuaca beach has surf schools in the area, you can also do kayaking in the Mendihuaca river that flows into the sea right next to the beach. There are different excursions to waterfalls and indigenous communities.
A 15-minute walk along the beach you arrive at Costeño beach, a place where you can find great parties. Also Tayrona National Park is just 10 minutes away.

Our internet conecction is a country side service and has some cuts down for a few hours a week. So be prepared than in some days of the month internet access may be intermittent. We also have decent cellphone reception with the carrier Claro.
